SUPERIOR Team

The mountainbiketeam led by Bart Brentjens is going to ride in 2012 with frames from Superior. The official teamname is going to be “ Milka-Superior MTB Racing Team”. Bart Brentjens founded his own mountainbiketeam in 2008 after the Olympic Games in Beijing, China. The first 3 years the team was riding with Trek frames. Milka, world famous alpine chocolate company, strengthened the team in 2010.

"I am happy that my team becomes the first factory team in the Superior's history," said Brentjens. "It is a nice challenge to help the Superior bikes technically to an even higher level and to give the brand Superior more awareness with the team and its results."

"The feedback of the team will help us to develop the Superior product..., and Milka, the main sponsor of Bart's team, shares the same goals of nature, leisure and sport in the mountains. This year BIKE FUN International s.r.o. (BFI) celebrates their great successes. Not only that they have recently observed their 10th anniversary, but also their millionth bicycle came off the assembly line at the factory in Kopřivnice. This milestone provides an opportunity to celebrate their main achievements which has been based on continual investments, innovations and product developments. Important factors of this success are also the skills, passion and dedication of their team members.

BFI currently possesses a portfolio of strong brands and will continue to build their successful business and strengthen their position across international markets. BFI produces and supplies market with a wide range of bikes, including mountain bikes, cross, trek bikes, racing bikes, city bikes, e-bikes, junior and kids bikes. This portfolio enables BFI to satisfy any customer requirement in terms of style, features, function and price. With 230 employees the factory in Kopřivnice produces up to 3.000 bicycles a week. BFI distributes their bikes primarily in Europe through network of distributors.

Achieving production of million bikes means a significant challenge for BFI and they do intend to carry on with the development of innovative bike collections. BIKE FUN International is looking forward to produce many other quality bikes in the Czech Republic.
